Parts needed to upgrade to mr02 chasiss

Anyone know all the nessery parts needed to do the convertion. I have a new mini-z and want to fit all the parts into a Mr02 chasis.I would like to buy the least amount of parts possible to keep the costs low. Im a newbie to this, is it hard transfering every thing to the new chasis ?

I think these are all the part i really need, read form donout`s post.

Kyosho (#MZF201C) Skeleton Chassis Set (Clear) For MR02
Kyosho (#MZ203) Front Sus. Parts Set For MR02
Kyosho (#MZ205) Servo Saver Assembly For MR02
Kyosho (#MZF202BL) Color Screw Set For MR-02 -Blue

Do i really need the front suspension part, Servo saver and color screw set, Ant i use mr01 screw set that came with my car ?

Thanks for your help.

the pcb is not soldered to the chassis. having installed a clear chassis on my racer and n=both overland's a can tell you it's the same setup. there is 1 screw for the plate that holds the on/off switch in place and 2 screws for the power ring terminals, 1 red wire, 1 black wire. these scew onto mounts along with the wires from the battery compartment. this is where the overland and racer's differ. the pcb wires scre into similar mount directly under the motor hookup location. the overland's are in a seperate mount close to the on/off switch. i only opened up my enzo once so i do not recal where it is, but i can assure you there is no soldering involved.

I did read in another post that the tabs for the power on the MR01 are too big for the MR02. you will need to solder the bigger tabs off and smaller ones (size of one of the motor or antenna connections) That was all the modification noted. Sorry that I don't remember what thread it was in but I read it this weekend.

I think i know what ar you taking about PaulAngelo, i think i know what the tabs are, I did a picture of it to see if you guys can verify it is what i think !

Those are the tabs I am talking about. They are too big for the inside of the MR02 chassis. The white servo box would have to be taken apart. The Motor and Pot would be put in the MR02's version of the servo box with the servo saver pieces.

oops paul... beat me too it

considering the 02 uses an entirely different servo setup, i would assume you remove the pot and servo motor from the white servo pod (01) to be placed in the 02 with the new parts. this is a best guess as i did not open the servo area of my 02 yet. now if you wanted to know anything about the overlands servo...i'm an expert as i've resoldered every connection atleast once.

btw, what is your first language? your english is fine.

You're going to need:

Kyosho (#MZ202) Small Parts for Chassis

which includes the cover for the PCB and some small plastic parts (hence the name ) such as bulkheads that hold the servo gear shafts.
