Hfay, used since season 7 started. Haven't had similar issue on stock diff, so I don't think its the motor. I did add a thin nylon atomic spacer/shim between the adjustment wheel and the bearing, but after tightening the diff, there's some clerance in that area so I ruled that possibility out. Bearings and their holders sit very tightly, so it shouldn't be those either.
Teeth are all fine. Whats funny is that my gear diff sounds and works perfectly fine with this mount as opposed to this 3R ball diff. I might go through my extra spur gears and see if there's a higher pitch/tooth one that would mesh well with 8-10 tooth pinion and see if it gives me better results.
Soy helped me figure this out last night- the pinion was rubbing on the edge of the rim and thus created vibrations and limited me meshing the gears closer. All good now and niftly little detail to learn.
