The PN Racing Upgrade Alloy Setup with the Caster adjust. If you where me do you think that set would end up being better with a stock caster that is non-adjustable? Saves tuning time and money and less active parts to play use. The question that remains is... Does caster setting need to be adjusting for width and length of a vehicle. What I'm stating is that I would add a lot more caster than there is..
the point of adjusting caster is just that adjusting it. you cn leave it stock if you like but many change it to different track set ups. are you just confused what caster does to a car?

Yes. If I had 3 widths and 3 lengths and 3 types of courses, short, medium, long, wide, narrow medium, low, med and high turn, whats the point? Why not a stock caster to save the time.
If I change the width of my car and length. Do I have to change caster? If not, then I would rather have a stock caster setup with a lot of caster, something that could be compared to the 1/10 Serpents which use a LOT of caster.
Caster in a model car does the same thing as it does in your or your families street car. It helps your car go straight. It is adjusted for things like road crown and to a lesser degree the type of tires on a car. The more caster that is adjusted in the harder it is to turn the car in but the easier it straightens it self off the corner. It is just another tuning tool in the box.

Wow. I did not know it would produce a straighter result out of steering. I usually thought that Caster where if you where to create a chalk line in the middle of the track was what Caster was capable of producing, meaning your car would most likely steering in the center line all the time.
