Congratulations Okabe!!

And thanks to Brian (and David?) for doing the stats and running the series.

please let us know if you want anything to change for next season. Only thing that we were thinking about was adding a few more classes. If we do we might need to run a tighter schedule

I kind of think it would be cool to have hot lap nights, maybe on their own layout. Or possibly on two smaller layouts simultaneously? Probably won't fit into the schedule with all the other stuff, unless we did it on a different night from main events. Also I still think rally special stages would be cool, transitioning between surfaces and everything.

Just a thought, not like I've been pining away for years or anything.

Thanks, I'll remember that.

The rally idea is something that had been discussed ages ago and now that some of us have shelled out for buggies it would be nice to actually do something with them, but I guess no-one was ever really interested in doing anything other than the same thing we always do. I think focusing just on lap times is a much better way for those of us that aren't as good to build skills faster and a night devoted to that would basically just be an extended practice session and could probably benefit some of us more than just racing.

But yeh, can't wait to spend more money on being insulted and made fun of.

Was laughing at TWO tracks at the same time. We can't get one track built without a bunch of belly aching, so I doubt doing two would really go smoothly. I am sure if you build it we can do it. Wasn't laughing at rally.

Not sure anyone would actually drive cars if I didn't constantly annoy all of you to get on the track!

Well they'd be half size obviously, wouldn't really take any longer to set up. The issue is obviously that couldn't both have timing going at the same time which would kind of defeat the purpose. At any rate I doubt we'd all be able to meet up more frequently than we already do so it's kind of a moot point all around.

OK here's a new suggestion for something to change in the coming season, let's rope some more people into coming to the races :P

Oh, but wait! I also have a timing bridge so we could run two tracks!

We could also just do 1 points race event each month and have tune time the other week of the month.

Personally I like the racing part because I have a track at my house and can tinker, but I understand that there needs to be time to just play around and there already is in the current format.

Here is my main argument though. We have plenty of time to do all this in one night. If we stick to a time table then everyone could get what they want out of it. We are at the GTG for 5 hours! The total amount of time for racing is 30 whole minutes. So there is plenty of time to do a BUNCH more stuff.
