MC3 Wide Front-End Stability Kit
Available now- MC3 Wide Front-End Stability Kit:
This is a high strength 3D printed kit. The material is nylon and printed using SLS technology, meaning high precision. It's akin to commercial plastic injection molded parts.
This part is only compatible with a MR-03 compatible chassis using the newest PN Double A-Arm Front suspension system for MR03 (parts number MR3070 or MR3062).
This kit lengthens both the upper and lower arm lengths from the stock PN lengths by 2mm on each side. This allows you to run zero offset rims for many popular racing bodies, which normally would have required a 2mm offset front rim.
Why this is important is that this gives you consistent handling and precise steering. This is due to the fact that there is reduced play in the fit of the components and it takes away the MR-03's variable camber effect which can lead to handling issues like flipping after straightaways into turns, inconsistent steering feedback, etc... as there is too much camber gain while cornering.
Kit comes with:
2 long upper arms with sway bar mount
2 long lower arms
6 long MR-03 toe-bars:
1 toe-out bar
1 zero toe bar
4 toe-in bars

Note, we offer wholesale pricing to qualified dealers.

Thanks. I'll add some soon. I may offer colours soon. The tip video is yellow and I also printed black, which looked good.

Hi Kevin, I had a question. It looks like you have a washer under the top bar that the upper A arm attaches to? Are you having a traction rolling issue? Thanks

Questions
Interesting product, congrats... It is a shame that all 3D printed upgrades are being banned for competition (e.g. PNWC2016 rules)
Had a few questions:
Does it work with PNR2.5W chassis?
Does the sway bar have an important effect at this scale? Does the kit include the bars?
Is it possible to configure a -1 offset and how?
Where can I get this stuff?

Hi
My understanding is that 3d printed parts are OK for open pan car class but nothing else.
Yes, but as noted you need the newer PN double a-arm kit which fits pn 2.5 chassis
For our testing/ racing yes. The real benefit is the extra width. We decided to add an option of being able to use sway bar which 2 bars come with the kit.
Sure but it depends what body you are running if that is appropriate or not. For most bodies that racers use, thr 2mm wider arms allow to use zero offset rim whereas before it would be 2mm offset rim.

Thanks for the quick response Sinister. Want to try it for sure.
I run 90% of the time +2 front offset. For the last weeks I have been trying a 599XX with +1 front offset... With good results.
Just checked your site, prices are CADs?

Hi
Yup, all prices are in Canadian dollars.
I used to run 599xx all the time but found the McLaren 12c to give more steering and balanced rear end grip so switched to that body for now.
We also all switched to marka 10 deg V1 rears as well and can use the PN KS medium front tire or the Marka V6 25 deg fronts.

Definitely, I have tested that same combination. But for me, Marka 15 deg tires are comparable to PN medium. I couldn't even drive with 25 deg (but I guess that's for another thread)
