Question question for network people

i am a moderatelty skilled computer techie out of necessity more than choice...i was given the responisbility to manage everything IT for my office (phone system to network). as if my daily responsibilities weren't enough

i'd like to ask some proficient nework engineers or whatever (because we all have day jobs here ) some questions about reorganizing the network for my office. rather than clogging up the forum here, can anyone interested in offering me some experienced help/advice please email me?

i figured i've always received a great amount of help here, i'd try here first! ...by far the best customer (member) support

arch, I'm actually majoring in IT - Network Engineering.

I can't help with your phone system, but anything network related I could probably help you with.

I did get a strange feeling after my post in Draconius thread "Time for a New Computer"
Damn you Drac for draging me down in the computer swamp j/k

So here it goes, my last post before i build me my new one, brand new parts laying all over this room

ASUS m/b P4C800 Delux with intel 875 chip
Intel cpu 3 Ghz 800 Mhz bus
Kingston Hyper X KHX3500/256 x2 CL2 with 433 Mhz
Hercules 3D Prophet 9800 PRO
Western Digital HDD Raptor S-ATA 36Gb 10k rpm x2
Antec Performance Plus 660AMG Midtower
Logitech MX 550 mouse

For the moment I'll keep my external Firewire DVD-R/RW
and my lovely IBM Spacesaver k/b...

See you all in a while!

wow that thing is tiny, your computer desk appears to be even more cramped than your hobby table is though

hehe, as soon as i copy overything over from the old computer, it and it's box/desk is going to my hobby room , like there is room for it there... i will have a new and smaller box/desk for my new computer since it's so small (you can see why i chose it) and it will give me room to atleat cross my legs while i sit infront of it, hehe
