Module interchangeability, Hitec vs Futaba, HURRA IT WORKS !!!

Problem: How to drive a Kyosho Mini-Z with a Hitec CRX transmitter?
Solutuon: Use a Futaba module. It actually works in a Hitec radio and vice versa, I tried it yesterday :-D

Futaba 3PK owners have had the ability to drive Mini-Z's since the hills were young, as Futaba seems to be the only company making 27 MHz AM modules.

Now I discovered the modules are interchangeable :-)

There are also AM conversion modules for the Ko Propo Ex-10 Hellios and Airtronics M8. It's my understanding that the Ko Propo module will work in some of the other Ko Propo transmitters though I don't know if the module for the Airtronics M8 will work with the M11. Spektrum RC recently modified their M8 modules so they would work with both the M8 and M11.

how about the hitec aggressor srx?

this radio is cheaper than the aggressor crx, and also has a module. have anyone tried the srx with the futaba am module?

Works perfect. The least expensive "High" end solution for Mini-Z's

Not a problem. Here is the link to Futaba's site with the info. This module is compatable with the HiTec systems. Should not be filtered......
