PCB FET pads

I have managed to lift a pad whilst removing FETs from my PCB...does anyone know if PCBs can be repaired by putting a new pad on? Or is the board stuffed? Maybe someone in electronics can provide some advice/opinion....the reason I am hoping that it can be fixed is because my LES sells a "silver conductive varnish" that "repairs printed circuits......adheres well to PCB material" Reading the blurb it insinuates that I can fix a missing pad by making a new one with this stuff. Any comments?

repairing damaged pads may be difficult. an alternative is to find an alternative point to solder a connection to. (on the same circuit of course)

pin 3 is for positive source of the fet! I had the same problem before and I actually have 2 of the pads gone and both are gates too! What I did though is got a piece of magnet wire and strip both ends then solder the one on top stack of pin 3, in your case, and the other to the positive/red wire. This should work!

when I get the time to do it, I'll take some pictures of my esc board! I used a 26 awg when I fixed mine!

I guess this happens to those (like us) who fiddle with the FETs too much, hehehehehe

that's what's wrong with mine too (it's actually pin 2 and pin 4) of the inner fets). it'll take more my diagram to show this one but it's still fixable! psyklops, if you can find me a pic of a miniz esc and e-mail it to me that would be very helpful for me to explain it 2 u more!

Myster E you have easily made my day!!! I will do my upmost to find a pic of the PCB. Does it have to be a birds eye view? If so I can take a pic with my camera, but problem is the camera is REALLY bad in quality, so there would not be much detail. I am still in amazement at your depth of knowledge of Mini Z PCBs!!!!!!! Now to start searching for a pic!!!! Unless there is someone with a decent dig camera who feels up to the task of pulling their Z apart for the cause?! We want the side with the big black box, FETs, X-tal slot etc That would be ideal, but I don't expect it!
