interesting... what type of mods do you plan? oh i also forgot to mention that a significant portion of the window has been hollowed out under the roof of the body (this helps with bringing the overall weight down as well as lowering the cg - center of gravity)... guess kyosho picked up on this material saving method as well...

That is promising. Should come in around 25.5gr if you start with a white body. Can't wait to pick one up and tweek it.

inside the body

lightbuckets will allow front led lights if you like...

front detail... lip, winglet and headlights... lip doesn't look too bad, not as far out as other bodies, winglet may come off during collisions, and the headlights look almost flush with the body, probably recessed a tiny bit but hardly noticable...

It looks like the unpainted body is coming soon or is now available in Japan. Found this on a Japanese hobby shop site.

The number is MZN163. Kyosho America doesn't even have it on their list yet. I will wait though.

I ve got the white body last month and painted it (pic below), I trimmed the front lips a bit and didn't bother to fix the front canard and the front wide body fender. I tested on rcp track, the handling is almost similar to my lighten F458 with a bit more agile and its currently my favourite body for mod and stock.

Cut some rear holes for air duct.

With mock wheels installed

I don't think the body will hold up. We had one racing today and it was leaving parts all over the track.

Unpainted white body arrived

I finally received an unpainted white body, I ordered it from Japan which took about 2 weeks. For those interested, weight of the bare body itself is 19.0gm, and the windshield 4.0gm. See attached photo.

The windshield in particular is much lighter than previous Kyosho ones, for example the Kyosho stock windshield on the 458GT2 weighs 8.0 gm.

I just finished painting it. All up weight is 26.6gm, which includes the following:
- body with front splitter shaved and rear diffuser carved open
- stock spoiler and screws
- body side clips
- headlight lenses and buckets

I was a bit heavy with the paint and glue, it can probably be a little lighter. I will try it out when I head to the track next week.
