Here is my first attempt at a custom white body. Was a bit lazy with cutting out stickers, and I happened to have a white set of 5 spoke wheels in the correct offsets laying around when I was painting. Will probably pick up the BBS ones at some point.
A few of us in the Portland club are adding a 90mm RM 911 GT1 class for fun, I like the body/RM set up so much, I ditched my R8 MM set up and now run this in stock
Congrats on your first attempt! It's a popular 90mm body fore the trackwidth and stability. if they were easier to find, i'm sure more would be using that body.
Patto's clear sticker decals? did you clear coat it?
Yeah there were 10 in stock at the overseas place we got (5) of them for our club. I think we just have 1 white body left for the taking.
Andrew's car is definitely looking nice. I just threw a bunch of random decals on mine for the time being. We'll have to see what Ken comes up with. I think he has his chassis all done, but just finishing the body. It's a fun body to run for sure, and looking forward to running this class some more this spring/summer.
Arch- The decals are from Pattos Place. I did not clear coat them as I wasn't sure if it would damage the ink. I do think it would have looked a lot cleaner.
As Traveler and Bob said it seems to be back in stock at a few places. Thinking about doing a Marlboro livery as well.
Bob- yours looks good with decals, can't wait until Ken has his ready too. Looking forward to some epic battles!
