hmm, hopefully I can find the previous version with gearing table.
The internal club discussion is to make this both fun and competitive driving vs. a truck mod class. Who knows what the future holds, could have additional truck classes in the future but lets get this one off the ground first.

My preference for the class would be 70t as well. As cool as it would be to see modified trucks flying around the track, 70t will give better racing and the bodies won't break as easily.

70t would be cool, these things will be quite top heavy.
Sometime soon I will want to introduce a "Smokey and the Bandit" class at Murdertown USA Racing. A car and a truck as a team and the best combined time wins. I would have a good time for sure. It might go down on a big oval track too.

I put my carbon fiber order in recently. Not sure of the turn around time as of yet.

You would be surprised at how little these weigh. The Buyy. for example is next to nothing as the lower front bumper section is the only stiff plastic piece. The cab and side fenders are of much thinner plastic, almost lexan like in flexibility. I can't speak for the Man, Merc or others as I have not held them yet.

With the interior, mine comes in a 30.1g. That is less weight than the 2017 Audi R8 which is a lite weight autoscale.

Mine comes in at 30.6 but part of the rear section will be cut for fitting so that could drop.

That's a good price point for low production.

One step closer to formal start of the class! had another test session today and shared video in another thread.
On the rough side of RCP, I still have some front end chatter to address. On the smooth side it was smooth as silk, on rough side the front end chatters when on throttle in turns. Harder springs didn't help.

Anyone have a tutorial on building the Buggyra truck with the parts kit from Kris? Looking to get something to 'sticky' and be able to share for events, etc.
Have the rules been decided? All I'm aware of at the moment is motor and gearing limits. Any chassis, battery, electronics, etc.?
I will be working on updating the 'class' rule banners at the Garage and want to make one for the trucks

Good question Ray. Only group that has purchased these from me is our local group. Not sure if anyone has 3d printed and did an install.
