What is RTR weight for MR03?
my mr03 race ready with transponder is 175g.... i mean your really only leaving 10 grams between 2wd and awd...

My MR-02 with transponder is 178.5gm, and truth be told, I don't feel like finding a way to add 1.5gm

UPDATE: Apparently you can just use lead tape which can be found anywhere that golf or tennis supplies are sold.

I think 180 is a fair weight for stock 2wd. The MR03 still has the advantage here, as you can choose where to add your weight. The MR02, just barely makes it under 180 with the lighter bodies and weight shaving... MR03 is about 5g lighter. I think the 180g minimum will balance the field a bit more. I have always been a fan of 175g, but the MR03 can easily meet that while the MR02 has to have a sub 30g body at least... MR02 drivers should not have a weight penalty for using their car without hacking it to reduce weight. MR03 already has enough advantages already....

Comparing to the AWD means nothing. AWD stock and 2wd stock are not racing together, so the set weights for each class has no effect with the other class.

The modified class has no weight restriction, where AWD and 2wd will race head to head.

I personally am not a fan of using wide wheels/tires on the front of AWD...

Sai,

Thanks for posting; great to have some footage online; very nice quality too.

You don't happen to have the Stock D-main footage do you? There is a dispute, and we all would like to know for sure what happened.
