back in feb GS raing said they were coming out with a 4wd mini monster truck. People are saying it will go up directly against the tamiya tlt. only the "GS racing mini sut" is lighter blue plastic and not as ugly and looks alot more like a clod buster. GSR said they should be on the market in may, but its now june and i can hardly even find so much as a picture of the chassie from way back when. anyone know about it or heard anything? please post pics and or info. thanks!

Got the GS Mini SUT last week. The 1/20 scaled mini monster looks sweet but it's nowhere near the performance of the Losi Mini LST without decent hopups. First to go will be the mini servo. Although there's a servo saver installed but i still managed to broke a server gear. Fortunately there are plenty of miniz servo gears leftover in my toolbox and i got it fix and it's running even better now. The mini SUT will need a stronger servo if running offroad.
The stock motor is nothing to scream about. Did manage to perform a wheelie after a full charge. The mini SUT is quite tough but will need stronger parts to handle off road condition.
I'm changing the servo to a stronger metal gear servo to handle tough terrain soon. Just looking for a suitable servo saver. A hotter motor will be an excellent choice for bigger jumps and more torque.
The stock ESC/receiver and the FM radio is ok but i'll switch to my SPY and M8 to see how well it'll handle.

I just got the servo changed. The stock servo with plastic gears are too weak to go off road. Even with a servo saver, i managed to break one of the gear.
Installed a better and stronger servo but had a hard time looking for the servo saver. Luckily the shop keeper here is kind and patience enough to help me.
Next to go is the motor. A stronger motor will be better to handle the off road condition and to make it race ready.
