I m wondering whether Kyosho is producing any Aluminium knuckles for AWD?

I second dohc's recommendation - PN's alloy knuckles are great.
As of this moment Kyosho does not make an alloy-version knuckle for the MA-010.

Just a friendly reminder to those who are getting the PN knuckles, the new ones have shorter top king pin, and they are nicer in a way that it will hardly or never touch the shell when the springs are compressed.
If not mistaken, the newly released 0.75 and 1.25 deg are both in that format. I wish they will come out with new format 1.5 and 1.0, so that I could update my knuckles.

what's wrong with plastic, except for looks? Word of caution: try to avoid the knuckles with teflon(?) on them: these pieces tend to slide off and become stuck in the track

boydnhl,
I don't know which one of them have the shorter top king pin, but I do know the new 1.25 and 0.75 should have them since that is the first time I see the short king pin. Maybe asking the sales folks will help prior to the purchase.
michvin,
Good point. I usually get mine, and then pull the sleeve on the PNs as hard as I could, and if it fell out, I will simply put a very tiny little tap on glue on the king pin and slide the sleeve back on.

I was wondering the same thing for my Kyosho-only AWD. I dont' know why they didn't go with alloy's as they did with the MR02 chassis.

I havent used the PN knucks. My dad did and hates them because of the nylon sleeve that slide down and drags
I bent one of the only set of ATM alloy knucks and couldnt find out for the life of my whay my car wouldnt drive straight.
I run only plastic K knucks now. As EMU says "performance is the same... The plastic is also lighter". Ive learned why they break, and have been fortunate enough to be able to keep it from happening any more.

I guess I will just have to be extra careful when using the plastic knuckles and keep few for replacement.
IMO, the aluminium knuckles are durable but it might be hard to straighten it up when its bend and might causes some handling problem.
perhaps when i get better in this hobby, i ll consider getting this aluminium knuckle. at the moment, im still strugling in setting up and controlling my AWD.
Thanks everyone for the advise
