Lightbulb Lexan Wings

There are many uses for the clear lexan used in packaging Auto Scale Bodies! So far, I've used them for internal antenas and rear wings for my CLK and Modena.

I simply cut the lexan to the shape I wanted, then drilled small holes on the rear section of the body (in the CLK, I used the original mounting holes). With a pair of plastics nuts from a 10th scale kit and self tapping screws, my new wing is mounted securely!

This give the Mini Z a 1/10th scale look with the benefit of a very impact resistant wing that won't come off in a crash!

Yes that is a common method... If you dont have any lexan you could cut a credit-card or an old library-card and so on..

CLK

Diego50,

There's something different about the headlights on the CLK.
Any chance of a close up pic and an explaination?
Thanks
