206, by the Forum, for the Forum
I have several 206's in full WRC livery, ( the Twins grey and yellow). But up to this point, I've never had one that ran fairly well. The 206 shell is a bit top heavy and prone to loads of chassis roll due to the high motor mount.
Well things have changed quite a bit. The forum members have suggested and detailed many ways to make the 206 a decent runner. So, I dedicate this to those that contributed, you'll know who you are when you see the pics. Thanks!!!

The originals are ok but here's the beginning of the racer.....
Note the antenna connector made from an old BEC connector and some thin wire. This was needed to connect the fixed rally style antennas.

Note the reversed motor mount with extended o-plate, the mid mount suspension from a Squat 360 Lexan shell kit, and the Kyosho high mount monoshock.

Semi-wide tires really help the traction, ball diff and a donated X-speed ala R.

1 degree camber and toe in. Had to open the rear wheel wells towards the rear. This was necessary as the mid motor mount configuration make the motor clip come dangerously close to the chassis.

Hi Damzer. I have the 206 shell too.
Can you summarize the list of tips and tricks you have used?

Making me envious of your amazingly nice 206's... and to top it off, a pair.

I swear I just responded to this from my e-mail notification, but its not here, so once again.....
The rims are semi-wide Kyosho
The yellow beastie is just for display. The red and yellow really contrast well together.
I am trying to source some more shells. If I do, I may offer some fully detailed bodies for sell or auction.
I have a tamiya 206 coming. Maybe a hi res scan of their decal set will result in a better 206 set. I'll reduce it and see if I can match it to the 206.

Guys
I have faced it on the track and it is cool how DAMZer can drift it around the coners at times looks like an E-Brake turn slide then
back on the power for a quick coner exit.

Not used to a drift machine, but it kinda grows on you after a couple minutes. Much more controllable than the high mount motor configuration. Still, it will never handle like my NSX. Really need to take out the X-speed and use a stock to get the real nature of the set-up.
