oh i was getting a L wheelbase body for my chassis. is this what you mean by what the chassis depends on?
Well, not quite. The wheelbase is the length and that determines which chassis you can run it on (MR01, MR02, AWD) and which length setting you have to use.
Since each chassis is a different with, you have to use different wheel offsets based on the chassis you use. The AWD and MR01 are narrower than the MR02 so you need more offset to fill them out.
For example, the Mercedes CLK fits on the MR01 AWD and MR02 (RM). If you put it on an MR01 or AWD you need 2.5mm Narrow Fronts and 0mm Wide rears. If you run it on an MR02 you need 0 offset fronts and the same rears.
