Futaba 2PL - cannot center steering

I noticed I cannot center the steering on my new 2PL, even when trimmed completely to the left (25) the car is still biased to the right.

The same car is perfectly fine with a KT-2 or KT-5 (several).

Is this normal? I know I can trim the PCB pot, but why does this TX need that when others don't??

Are your batteries fully charged in the radio? Is the tie-bar on your car centered on the pin in your servo? MR-01 steering servos will sometimes in a crash,l pop out of the notch on the tie-bar. I dont have a PL but I didnt know they were compatible with Kyosho crystals and receiver.

Thanks Tigre, but yes, everything is ok; in fact it works fine with several KT-2 or KT-5 TXs. Is just the 2PL which doesn't have enough trim to center the steering.

hmm... really don't know... i guess some settings are different than others...

i would just adjust the trim on the pcb board if you intend to use the 2pl instead of the stock tx's

good luck

that's what I did in the end... What happens is the KT2 and KT5 steering trims have alot of range, whereas the 2PL trims in very very tiny and precise steps, and sometimes, if your steering is way off, 25 of those steps aren't enough.

My Mr02 goes damn straight now
