I just set this up here at home. It is so far very challenging. Great track layout to the author.

This is one of those odd times in which we have multiple weeks between race days... It will have been 3 weeks since we practiced this layout and want to remind all to polish up their HFAY cars for next weekend!
Just a reminder, if you have any parts requests, please email them to Jesse. If you don’t have his email address, send to me and I’ll forward on.
I didn’t get to ZRound training last time, if anyone is interested in shadowing, i can use HFAY as an example for walking through Championship management. I walked thru Event management with Rhyes this past weeken, which is similar but consolidates multiple classes under one event vs. a Championship, which is serialized.
Please don’t forget to leave feedback on June special event. This will be upon us sooner than we know and would be good to have it finalized at least a month prior so that all can plan accordingly.

FYI, I will be wiping down all tables and chairs at Hobby Works before we setup for the day. Not that I believe we are a messy group but we are not the only group to use the tables and chairs and not a high degree of confidence they are the cleaning up after themselves properly given the mess left behind. We vacuum before setting the track by default.
Please be sure to exercise due diligence in cleaning your pit materials and be sure to do the normal things such as washing your hands at appropriate times, if not for yourself, in consideration for all others that work there. No need to freak out, just take reasonable and thoughtful measures which frankly, aren’t far off from what would be normal proper hygiene. I don’t think anyone is shocked that many don’t wash their hands in the bathroom for example, I see it all the time at the office.

Hobby Works has canceled all Events until April 5, 2020.
I just received notice from Hobby Works that all Events held at the store will be canceled until April 5, 2020. I will let all know that status of this restart as we get closer to that date.
This impacts the Washington DC schedule by canceling the following:
March 14, 2020; HFAY Races 5+6
March 28, 2020; Kyosho Stock and Modified classes
Apologies to all that were looking forward to putting down some laps this weekend.

Tempting... I always enjoy the time spent with the group. Last time I was there my car setup for HW just couldn’t find any real traction and don’t want to make a lot of alterations only to have to undo them again for HW.
I do have a back log of paint job to finish so should use this time to catch up on those. Wrapping up another GT-01 chop job to 94mm this time. Hope to be done with paint and decals tomorrow.
