Smile Thank you akura2 and herman!!!!

"akura2"...... I'm a newbie to RC and Mini-z. I purchased a Jomurema JR128-R01 RTR and I wanted to use the Audi R8 LM Body. This thread is prefect for what I want to do. Your photos are giving me hope. Thank you "herman" for sharing your body clip relocation guides.

Hmmm... forgot to mention that I was in Japan last month was lucky to get the new Audi asc... but unfortunately it has the same problem...

Apologies for upside down pic... I flipped it 180* and saved it but it still is upside down. Any suggestions for a remedy to post it right side up?

Same thing with the RTR too

What's happening?

For MR03W, it's +3/+3

You would be better off running +2 front and +3 rears on this body or even +1 and +2's. It provides a much more balanced steering feel and improved turn in under power. As far as AWD offsets go I have no idea but it should be listed in the included Kyosho material.

Agree, I listed +3/+3 as that is the official statement, but I find +2/+2.5 to work better.

AWD would be +3.5 narrow in front, with +3 wide rear.

If you have an 020 with wide front end, then you would want to use +2mm in the front.
The track width of the 010 is the same as the narrow MR03, and wide 020 is the same as wide 03.
It creates a little confusion at first, but narrow to wide is a difference in total of 5mm, or 2.5mm each wheel.
With 3.5mm being the widest narrow offset available, that is the limitation. So this would equate to a 1mm with the wide kit.
I might opt for 2mm rear wheels if using a narrow front end for better balance.

Thanks for all replies, much appreciated...

So in summary

For MR03 Wide setting:
Front N: +1/+2/+3
Rear W: +2/+2.5/+3

For AWD (from mini-z guide site - needs confirmation)
Front N: +4.5
Rear W: +2.2

Pretty cool that you can put on a wide range of offsets on the mr03... guess it's personal preference, as long as it's within the racing rules of your club... I'd like them just within the fenders for extra protection...

At +3 front and rear, I think this is kyosho's widest body. Which makes it a great racing body (rules permitting)

Do the old and new r8 have the same offset? How about the r8 made by GL racing?

Many thanks once again.
