aoshima swampers

Just got a bunch of aoshima swampers in yesterday and being hollow i was thinking of putting some small bearings in them to help with the crawling. The idea comes from the big boy crawlers, the bearings are free moving in the tire and settle in the lowest spot keeping the weight low. Before i try this is there anything i can conventionally do to make the tires softer? Not that they are hard, but rather a medium compound. I'm looking for a little more squish.

LMAO!

The bearing "tweak" is also used on larger scale RC crawlers too..
I think it could work, the added weight at the lowest point (wheels/tires) will work to your advantage in a crawling environment

In 1/10 scale, we use plastic BB's for the same reason. So maybe some 1/8" steel balls would work in a small tire like on the Swampers. You might be able to get like a 100 pack from www.mcmaster.com

Most 1/1 crawlers use water
