Help again, trying to mesh pinion gear w/ diff gear!!!

Now that I got the motor mount screws off and mounted the x-speed motor, the pinion and diff gear do not mesh. Any suggestions? I still have the stock diff and will be ordering a ball diff soon. help!!!

By the way, I am using the 6 tooth pinion gear. Should I try the other motor mounts that come with the car?

You will find a parts tree with black plastic rectangles marked .5, 1 and 1.5. These are used in the motor mount to space the motor for correct gear mesh. With the 6 tooth gear you may have to remove any spacers presently in the motor mount to get correct mesh.

We use these plus thin cardboard pieces in the motor mount to get the best gear mesh.

Hope this helped.

PS: We've found the 8-tooth pinion to be the best setup for our track when running stock motors.
