I found out i have futaba megatech 2PL 29mhz transmitter..
hi, i found out i have the megatech 2PL controller but its on AM 29.865mhz not 27mhz.. do you think this should work with mini-z.. or i can change the crystal to kyosho 27mhz one and would it work? or this transmitter will always work in 29mhz?

comparing both 27mhz and 29mhz.. 29mhz performs bit better, car dont seems to go berserk lesser than 27mhz at some parts of my house...

With controllers made for 27mhz AM, you can usually use crystals anywere from 26mhz to 29mhz. This works with the KT2 and KT5 too. However, some find that once you start to use frequencies further away from 27mhz, it doesnt work as well.
The reason that youre finding less interference with 29mhz might be because some household electronics emit waves at around 27mhz
