If you happen to be running 27mz AM radios, Radio Shack is selling a set 0f 6 channels (2 cr: transmitter/receiver) for 14.95. Most companies seem to charge $7 to 10 for a single frequency. These are for the xmod cars: not a great car, though Radio Shack is trying to get more serious. They are really trying to go after a younger market so they are making things inexpensive. These crystals will work in any 27mz AM radio. There really aren't any quality differences in crystals, though you should really only run a pair from the same company because the stated frequency of a given channel might vary slightly from one manufacturer to another, though pairs should work. Frankly, even this may be too cautious.
