Hey Guys, Im going to build a mini-z to replicate a classic car I own. But I need some help purchasing a chassis that will work with the model kit I have.
The measured wheelbase is 106mm, I see there are Mini Z variants that have this wheelbase. The problem I have is that I can't figure out which RTR kit would come built to this WB.
I am new to Mini Z but not 1/28th as I have some Atomic kits that I run on my home RCP Track.
Im not after a kit for all out performance, so a Sport RTR set will work. I was looking at this one:
I think the only kyosho bodies that are 106mm are the minivans, of which there were only 3 and I'm not sure they came as readysets.
I don't think any new RTR kit comes 106mm. Your best bet would be to get an LM kit 102mm (toyota gt one, mazda 787b) and extend it 4mm by moving the t plate one position.
