Darn-Toot'n You are correct! Except I should get an AWD Mini-Z, and not try to use my X-Mod AWD Drifter!!! I got some more Dnano Fun to show you when meet up at the next race.....can you say LP500S? I knew you could!
See you there.

Oooooh SICK! my favorite Countache and I do love Countaches
He He I knew you were fond of them as you mentioned you like that one last time we raced. I had to post a pick just for you!
See you at the track!!
Steven
Note that we do have Off Road RCP and an RCP Tracks Jump Kit that w/b great for this too...
-------------------------------------------------------------
Only trick here w/b timing - need to either make it loop back to cross the line - or I'm sure we could come up w/ a simple alternate timing system... ?
I want to check out the off road stuff... I saw some pictures of some off road truck rally stuff and it looks pretty rad. (Yeah... another Mini-Z vehicle to get) Offroad Pics
For the timing with gymkhana, it's not abnormal to have the track go outward, and then end by coming back through the start line in the opposite direction.
...Next two weekends are races so unless people want to meet up on a week night it probably couldn't start until after then....
So yeah please post availability and interest if you're reading this
FYI I can pretty much never do week nights (other than late Friday) so it's most likely going to have to be a Fri/Sat that isn't already dedicated to another Dojo event.

Drifting? I just need to fix my X-Mod Evo (found it in a box in my basement so now I dont have to buy an AWD mini-z!) Sorry Dave
S, you do understand what "Team" means, right?! No need to apologize RE XMOD - I could use a good laugh!

FYI the track that we have is the "original" off-road stuff, not the new "Losi" tracks. Though we can of course do some shopping if things take off...

D.......NICE!............I may even convert the XMod to Kyosho Spare AM gear....Take that! I know what team kinda means..exept I do not do Teams very well..more of a solo act if you know what I mean.....That way there is no hard feeling if something breaks on someones car......Especially Mine.
See you there boss

Here is a Rally Idea! How about a tarmac and Snow event on the same track!? How do you ask? You simply set up a long stage and run the AWD cars with sticky rubber tires in both direction....THEN......wait for it........
you switch the tires to Drifter Tires and then you instantly have a snow/ice course! Think...One track layout.....4 stages! Tarmac one way and then back the other way....Then snow out 1 way and back the other way!
I think that could be fun to run both setups on one track layout....

Glad you like. Good point about differently layouts as well. That way each time we change the circuit we get 4 unique stages...if you count 2 different directions for tarmac and snow/ice.
I may have to get a Mini-Z AWD from DAVE if this becomes a reality...Hear that Dave?. That White Subaru is calling my name for a Rally themed night!!!
I may have to retire my X-Mod Evo You better get some Bearing Kits in for the AWD!!!!

OK I've been messing with this Z Round track maker and here is my first attempt!
Fuji Speedway 1980
This is much more difficult than I expected it to be, these tiles don't like to cooperate!! I had too balance making it look like the track with making it (I hope) drive like the real track. I tried to allow for lines and relative speeds similar to what you would get on the different corners in real life. Also hoping that we have the tiles necessary, I couldn't get a definite list of the dojos tile stock.
If you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know! If anyone else wants to try putting together their own Fuji I'd be interested to see it
