Sounds like fun. I'm not opposed to the idea even though I don't have one myself. I've always enjoyed watching them racing, maybe more so than actually racing them given the shear frustration they induce in getting a good setup and have it repeat.
most of the f1 handling issues stem from the side plates and differential. Then it's all tires.
Mike, what f1 are they using, the Kyosho, x-power, or mc3 (the only 3 that I know) ? Aaa or Lipo? I may need to freshen a car up for possible future races.

They are using the Kyosho one with 4 AAA batteries.
