update
back to a 2.4 board on the production car,using a futaba s3106.
found out an interesting thing with the s3106,it has a 100ohm resistor soldered to the pot.
i left it in and tried it as none of the servos ive used with the 2.4 board have ever centered 100% (98% isnt good enough for me lol)
i was sure the problem i had before was the non-kyosho pots in the servos are not quite the correct value, never had the time to look into it untill now
providing i have no hicups tomorrow i should finally get some timed runs with it!!!

Hi mk2 If you have read my post I didd made few Qabout placing a resistor to the pot never got an answer. Can you please post a pic of the Pot & resistor??
If a pic is not possible, can you post the color codes on the resistor and where is located ???
Looking on for your joy ride feedback
Thxxx...
Cheers

hi Richard,
brown,black,red=100ohm,i tried to take pics of it but my camera is crap
its connected to one of the outer legs of the pot(i dont think it matters which leg)

Thanks mk2kompressor,
I have a Brown, black, brown, gold (101KΩ, 1/4W, +/-5%) right here that sould do the trick.
You mentioned only one of the resistors end to the outer leg of the pot, what about the other end of the resistor?
Cheers

sounds good
you connect the end of the resistor to the wire coming off the board

101K resistor sounds way too large a value, I would think. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to try? Please let us know how it goes, Richard.

Hi Color1, I mean 101ohm = 0.1KΩ
Sorry mk2 I am very confused.
The Pot has three legs, center leg is power, and the two side legs are signal.
The resistor has two side terminals, one on each end.
The Pot gets the power & signals from the wires that come from the board.
As you wrote, one end of the resistor terminals is solder to one signal leg (side leg) of the port, and the other terminal of the resistor on which of the wires that comes from the PCB is solder to???
Perhaps one terminal of the resistor is solder to a signal leg of the Pot and the other terminal of the Resistor solder to the Power center leg of the Pot?
Or one therminal of the resistor to one signal side leg of the Pot and the other resistor terminal to the oposite side signal side leg of the Pot?
Is the resistor solder directly on the Pot or on the wires on the PCB side, were the wires are solder to the PCB?
Perchance the resistor is interrupting/between the signal wire that comes from the PCB the to the pot?
PCB signal wire-resistor-pot side signal leg. PCB wire----------- resistor-Pot
Sorry for the "inconvenience"
Thanks!!!!
Cheers

The throttle resolution isnt very good. Its not very smooth, and doesnt deliver as much power as ASF, or hobby grade ESC.

as above, its very on or off with the throttle so you have to have a light finger to control it with mod motors.
servo was perfect though

Hi mk2
I did buy a couple brown, black & red colored resistors.
Can you PLEASE tell me ???, if the resistor on your Fut-s3106 was directly soldered to one of the outers legs of the pot and then the servo board wire to the resistor, been the resistor a bridge between the pot and the board wire, example; Board--Wire--Resistor--Pot.
By any chance, do you remember if the resistor was solder to the left or right outer leg of the pot looking at the pot from the backside ?
I really will appreciate this info, since I am planning to add the resistor as soon I go back home.
Advanced thanks!!!!
Cheers

Board--Wire--Resistor--Pot.
on either side of the 2 outer pot legs

Matt,
1. Do you have good grip with ATM tires in the front? I can't seem to find a good balance with them...
2. can i get a clearance look of your t-plate steering arm/linkage to servo area? It looks trick but I'd like to know how tall the servo arm needs to be so it doesn't bump the linkage swing arm against the T-plate...
