I bought a new sport version buggy and there isn't a port that has constant 4.8v power like the non sport buggy. Really frustrating that they went backwards instead of forward with the quality of this buggy..
None of the 'sports' series provides power to ICS port, this is not new nor specific to the buggy but commonality of all 'sports' board products from their beginning. I wish it were not so but sports series are cheaper so they had to cut corners and that feature was one of them.
you'll need to find appropriate spot to tie into board power, typically this is where the battery leads connect to board leads.
