Since this is the last race in our current series, we will hold the drawing for a new Mini-Z AWD. So far it looks like Hank, Kevin, Jeff and Billy have attended at least 6 races and are eligible to win. Sounds like pretty good odds! Good luck guys!
We will also have prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place points leaders of Stock class. Prizes to be announced.
I'll even throw in another drawing for a door prize that will be open to anyone who shows up! The prize will be a slightly used X-Mod complete with rechargeable batteries. Show up, put your name in the hat, and you could win!
See you all there!

The xmods are not quite as crappy as I once thought. I took my daughter's xmod car, added the AWD package since it was dirt cheap and also adjusted the toe-in and now it goes pretty good around the track. It's main problem is the controller of course and also it's turning radius. Definitely slower than a min-z but still fun to run around the track.

That would be great! Just bring whatever you want and we'll just keep drawing until everything is gone! Thanks!

Anyone have channel 1 crystals they would like to trade? I'm trying to get all my cars one channel. I'm sure I have a set that I can trade for your channel

ATL - I don't know if I, or we, will make it down; there's really no telling with us!
Hank - how's about I just toss you the X-tals for the ball diff? What brand, etc., is it?

Very fun today. I am pleased that I managed to tie Dennis and Billy on laps today, despite all my tire problems. I guess I know what I need to spend the gift certificate from the store on.

I had fun today too! I'm looking forward to next season and possibly participating in an F1 class. I've been looking around for a deal lately and with Jeff getting one, it sounds like another great class to participate in!

Jeff won. He alreadys has an ma-010, so he opted for an F1. I think that makes 3 people now with an F1. I think I'll join

Thanks everyone for coming to the last race! It was a good time… other than the computer dying a couple of times. Looks like it’s time to buy a new power supply and battery.
Anyway, I wanted to announce to everyone the winners of the prizes.
The grand prize drawing of the AWD Mini-Z went to Jeff! He has chosen to get an F1 Mini-Z instead of the AWD. He now has a 2005 Ferrari F1 coming his way soon… sounds like the F1 class is about ready to begin!
The points winners and prizes for stock class were as follows:
1st place – Hank – La Crosse Technology BC-900 AlphaPower Battery Charger
2nd place – Jeff – Orange McLaren F1 I-Waver Body
3rd place – Billy – 2 sets of I-Waver tires.
The door prize of the X-Mod and several sets of rechargeable batteries went to Jonathon. Thanks Jeff for donating the batteries! Jonathon is a friend of Paul’s who came to the races to check it out. Maybe we’ll another have a new racer!
Congratulations to all the winners!
I’ll post the results and update the final points standings tonight. I’ll also announce the plans for summer racing soon.
