I've just given birth, to a digital Adobe enhanced picture. I must say that my son helped.
The Warsteiner has been run and is stock with a graphite thin h-bar and a rear center spring set. The motor is in the mid position. Drives well on our concrete track. 7-8 seconds on a 58 foot centerline track.
The MR5 is totally modified. Ball diff, rear motor pod, cyclone wheels, chassis, twin turbo, ball bearings, 0 deg. tie rod, polished kingpins, mod steering knuckles, aluminum 1st gear, front bumper, rear monoshock, side shocks, alloy nuts, front bulkhead..... most are in BLUE!!!!!! This is more power than I can handle on our small track.
I control both of them with a JR X2 radio. This is so sweet!!!! You can dial back the reverse so that you can apply it as a standard brake, and if you continue to hold it in reverse, it will slowly reverse. You can also dial back on the full throttle so that you can help tame that lead finger.
Just posted several of the modified on the "parts and hop-ups" -Turbo-pics thread. But here is the angle shot again. Note the front aluminum bulkhead has been removed, weight savings.
