Yes, it would be great to meet and hang out with some you "local" Mini-Z'ers and see who really has the skills and who is all talk. Just kidding. Hope to see some of you there. I know it will be a great learning experience for me.

Hey Guys, I'm sure there is more out here. The shop I got my stuff from is Stampys Cool Stuff in Charlotesville. They did one of Kyosho's races there last year. He has a track in the store. There seams to be a lot of guys local there that race like 3 times a week. I ordered an F1 and it should be in on Monday. He stocks a lot of parts for all types of Mini-Z's as well as other R/C stuff. I ordered 2 wide L tracks from Micro-R/C Racing out of Milwalkie OR 2 weeks ago but still haven't seen it yet. Hopeful;ly it will come soon. As for getting together, I'm game for it. Labor day weekend I'm booked and Sept looks pretty full for me as me and the wife are going on a cruse and I am committed for 1 weekend in Oct. I do WW2 Living History and I have a few events scheduled. Other than that......... LMK what your schedule's looks like.
John

YO!!! I am in Fairfax off of guinea. I haven't been online much so I missed this thread to meet up and race. I would love to get a chance to race with you guys. I too have a track here that I made recently from garage tiles sold at pepboys. I will post some pics. PM me when you guys decide to do it again.

race
where at in washington d.c. and how far from where I live, maybe we can race this weekend. I know it's short notice but I don't have much to do here but play pc games online and race on the track LOL. I am 27 and my wife and son also drive mini-z's so its a family affair.

Wow, all that lane width... I won't know what to do with myself. The way I figure it, some practice on the Mini96, and I'll have a field day on the wide tiles. I'll be able to pass ya with my doors swung wide open.

That's cool. So you live in german town? Anyway we will have to definately get everyone in the area together to race. I am cleaning up my basement so I can set up for track vids. Will post when done.

i live in dale city, va. i work and spend most of my time in d.c. my track will only fit in my parents house in germantown, md. everywhere within about 30-40 miles from d.c. is generally the washington metro area which includes all of us but bc... he's a tad farther out.

ok, sun the 15th is looking to be the best day, please let me know if your interested so i can think about parking you'll understand when you get there...
my cousin will likely be on vaction that weekend so i might have a chance at not getting lapped horribly
also, bc and i have xmods so if that is all you have, by all means bring them as well.
my intention is to eventually create a regular racing season so i hope this goes well and it should be great practice for both the xmod and kyosho races
