My new xmod EVO VIII

Here is my hobby grade Evo gen1. It has full Gpm, with a Tiny RC Chassis, lithium, team mnm motor, awd, carbon drive shaft, Scooby sti rims with hard tread tires, and hobby grade electronics. It goes around 35 to 40mph with full charge.

Yes it i AM i do hope to upgrade to 2.4 when i get the money. It handles about the same as a mini-z mr02 but the steering radius is a little wider though. I will have a video either thursday or friday because i can't drive it at my house nowhere to show how fast it is so i'll get a video in the socialhall in my churches basement.

The batteries look mounted a little out of whack compared to the slots cut into the chassis I assume are for the batteries. That's not causing any ill handling? And with all that weight up high, it still handles as well as a MR-02, that seems slightly optimistic.

sorry for the confusion i ment to right mr-01 the batteries i am useing are not ment for this chassis so they couldn't fit in correctly. It does handle very well because all of the gpm parts weigh the chassis down quite a bit.

Handling better than the MR-01 makes more sense. Still, I wouldn't use batteries that doesn't fit into those machined battery slots. Could cause damage to your chassis.

i just have the batteries held in with zipties i don't think that will hurt thr chassis. the batteries are ontop of eachother not next to each other.

I also mounted the battery down on the chassis corectly now and it makes it handle so much better.

What does it weigh? If its above 210 or so, then forget any reasonable competition against Zs because it'll be way too heavy to keep up(if the race will be official, aka no lipos). Also, does your hardware fit under any body?

It weighs around 218 with an Evo VIII body and 179 without. That is a stock xmod body. I'm planning on modding a pancar body for it in the future. I'm going to use it as a basher before my boyscout meetings and i'm not planning on racing it against any mini-z's anytime soon. I think it could hold it's own against a mini-z mr-02 now that i lowered the batterys down.

I think it's very impressive.
In the video it looks to have a lot of traction and good grip considering the surface you are running on.

Thank you It does have pretty good traction concidering the power it is putting out and the brand new lenolium i was driving on.That is running with medium tires but if i was running softs it would be more grip but it just make it flipover when i try to turn.
