mmmmm...homebrew

Alright....it seems this topic was the result of an off the topic discussion on another thread so I'm starting it here..so use it damn it . Anyway, this is now for tips and tricks on home made track construction.

To start off I have a query...what is everyone using for rails on fatigues? I'd like some foam strips but can find it high enough...any reccommendations?

Now I am using the borders that came with the mats. I put them at 90degrees around the end and for the inside I've used stick pins to hold them in place. Not too bad. It is suprisingly durable and very easilly changeable! I;ve got areas that narrow to small lanes...a 45 degree turnaround...you make a hard 45 degree turn then 180degrees around a barrier then another 45 degree turn...

later this weekend I will post some construction tips for walls and rails for cheapo fatigue mats........you can use the same tips to dress up any track including the RCP's too

I don't really have the time to go into detail.........but I will create a new thread with complete instructions and pics
