Well, they are no longer shown on RS's site. Just went back to the link that TNB listed on page 2 of this post and it is not active.

If this is RS's method of "cheap" advertisment about new products--sell a few Xmods (to employees?), list them on the site, pull it, and then let the "few" owners spread the word on the forums... Let's put it this way, no wonder most of the electronics I see in the local RS are old models.

Look's like the truck chassis is way different from the car chassis.

turning is better than a 'tite turned' xmod- i think i have heard 22 inches is the radius.
old bodies fit.
unfortuanatly, it uses a different layout on the rx- but the same coding/tx. but for those who think it is worth it, real electronics are only $60 away..

I noticed it went from "just as good" to "about".

I'd like to see a video of the new "stock" Xmod on a "tight-turn course" RCP Track Mini-Tile 96. Anyone?

I must agree. Nothing too impressive, at least not yet. And as far as speed goes, at the beginning of the video it says it has a hot motor in it - not stock.

here ill put it like this, kyosho is always going to be better but if you want somethin JUST as good, for litterly half the price and theres probably a RS less than a mile from you, and the uprgrades are cheaper, and its 4wd, then a Xmod EVO is the way to go.
my list-
1.Mini Z MR 02
2. Xmods Evo
3.Mini Z MR 01
4. any Iwaver
5. original Xmods

I have been looking and have yet to find a video of a xmod running on a rcp road course track. I hear all this talk about how its better. all I have been albe to find is videos of cars running on the street, any car can do that, even one that turns with a 12ft. radius.

Supposedly, these things turn better than a gen1 with tight turns. The only issues with these things are that they are heavy, and they are not out yet.............. DAMN!!!

Well then, here's my list.
1. Mini-Z MR-02
2. Mini-Z MR-01
3. iWaver 02
4. iWaver 01
5. Any xmod.
It's true that XMOD stuff is half the price, and it's cheap for a reason- uselessness. Do you ever hear of any XMODers competeing in anything but drag most of the time? An RC doesn't have to be quality to go 50 MPH.

That's not the only issue. The weight issue is something that should've been resolved in the EVO, 'cause a lot of guys hate that the original XMOD was a brick.
All in all: The evo was the opportunity to fix all the XMOD problems, yet it's still fundamentally flawed. I guess if you want to show off to all the 12 year old girls in the neighborhood, a riced XMOD with a Stage 286810583 motor works...but don't try to ever race an iWaver/a Mini-Z on a course with actual turns.
