Mini-z body 'Cuda

'70 Cuda body for Mini-z MR02-03W
Wheelbase 98mm
Offset 0F/+1R
Weight 17.8gr

Link

This body has been widdened by 108% to fit a wide chassis, and so the proportions are not completely true to scale.
The overall dimensions are similar to the Kyosho Mustang.
Weight comparison: K Mustang 40.9gr (with paint and glosscoat) '70 Cuda: 17.8gr without paint.
The front grill is open to allow air flow.

Feel free to post your own realisations here. This thread is also open to requests for improvement of this body.

Nice, can a convertable version be done for a Nash Bridges car?

It is difficult to describe. Because of the reduced weight the chassis feels planted, and contrary to what the body shape suggests the long overhang does not have any influence and the car is not "top heavy" at all. It feels like driving with a lexan body that has an unusual shape.
I mounted 0/+1R and it is perfect.

@Marc I don't know it will be a good idea with the large exposed interior section and no way to make a clear windscreen.

Very, very nicely done. Step one to the T/A nearly complete. All we need now is the Camaro, Mustang and the Javelin.

Instead of exposed interior, you could do just a flat section with "humps" simulating the seats. Windscreen could just be painted black like on regular bodies.
Being convertable doesnt necessarely mean you have to have a completely opened center section. Kind of like make a half dumby interior if you will.

Just something that resembles Nash's car.

It is now just like it should be, green

@ mleemor60: the Camaro is already done

@Marc: this is just not a priority, many others are on the list.

I started detailing it. I don't know if I will go the complete Hemi decoration (quarter panels and scoop in black) and I don't know if I will chrome the bumpers.

To use an Ilap transponder on my Exige, I drilled a 3mm hole on the bottom of the windshield. Hardly noticeable... I too would prefer a front clear window, but this will work.
