just wondering if anybody else is having issues binding to their mr03ve pro?
i can get my kt18 to bind to some, but there are 2 boards that i can't seem to bind to... the light turns solid
red which indicates that binding was successful, but when you turn it off/on the red light is either off, or
blinks....
got them second hand...
question... if they were bound previously to a tx that uses mhs, would binding it to the asf kt18 be any issue?
I am not an expert on this, but my VEpro board is only mhs. I believe the older VE pro was ASF. Is it possible that some of your boards are the newer MHS only boards?
Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure all VE Pros are MHS and ASF. Even the new Evo MHS receiver still has ASF compatibility. I don't know of a later board than the RA-34 for VE Pros.
I've gone back and forth between binding with ASF and MHS on the same car without any problems. I would test it with a different controller if you have one accessible.
Pro is stated to be ASF by default and MHS when enabled by compatible transmitter. Otherwise, should be able to use any ASF controller with a Pro board. Unless something has changed over time, this is how Kyosho has presented the Pro series.
Look at Pro models for sale from Kyosho, anything with a transmitter includes the KT-18 (ASF).
I find that when a car is not binding, sometimes it will bind when you put the receiver in binding mode first and then turn on the transmitter in binding mode.
