Please note the way wing height and rear cut out heights are measured: wing has to be no higher than the top of the roof based on a line parallel to the bottom of the chassis and the rear bumper cutout is based on the chassis bottom as well. Set 'em and forget 'em, change tires, ride height, etc... you will stay legal unless you change the body front or side clips. I will have new tech gear at the race but it is easy enough to check with a block, square and ruler.

For LMP1 I think the R246 Nissan R390 should be allowed, it's in exactly the same vein as the older LM cars.

We did have a long discussion about about this body and since it was actually raced in the same full scale class as the Porsche GT1 and the big McLaren that we do allow in our GT class then we really should allow the R390 in GT as well. Notice that the GT rules do allow up to a 102mm wheelbase. We had a similar discussion when the big Mac came out and we put it in GT since it was a 98mm wheelbase. This does allow someone that wants to run the stable 102mm wheelbase in the GT classes the ability to do so, though in our area no one runs the body or the wheelbase in GT at the moment. We do let new racers run their LM cars in the GT classes but as their skills improve they switch over to a legal body. I do though see that PN calls the R390 an LM.

PN makes their decisions based on the R246 and Kyosho labels though, and we base our decisions on real world racing.

Sounds good about the measuremnt tool! I can't wait to see it. Ive been setting mine with the car on the table. I'll go back and check to make sure I won't have any problems.
