Mike.....I did one lap in the 12's, LT is in the 11's, I think we will see 10's by the time the race comes around.
I hope to be in the low 12's, which means that guys like Landon and Rodney will be in the 10's.
That's just my thought.
The "Cup" motors have all been gone through and thoroughly cleaned, comms claened up and new brushes installed where necessary. Lubed and run on the motor master. All seem to be as good or better than before.
I should have said that only the "mortals" will be in the high 12's.
Yesterday I worked on my mod GT car, and got down to 11.8. I thought that was fast enough, so I moved on to the 70t Can Am car. The track is really green, so every lap is adding traction. By the end of the night I did an 11.669 with an underweight CA2 car. I think we will see high 10s with all the cars from the A group. While there is a LOT of straight, the infield is tight enough that the 70t cars that are properly geared are probably going to be very close in hot lap to the mod cars.
