I don't think any one is getting mad with you Albert, just the situation. It's best for every one to express your grievances, just watch how you do it!

Agreed, its hard to find a date that will work for everyone, best you can do is find a date that works for most and of course the track owners. If the date that works for most doesn't work for the track owners then they have to decide what is more important for them. In the end we all do this for fun, not for a living... except for the track/hobbyshop owners like Jim, Vicki and Landon.

Yeah Tommy, but there are more people to plan around than just you. It's looking like the 27th might take the whole MB team out of play, but we need more time to determine if this is true.......
FWIW, every one is effected by this change...every one! Some of us have put it out there that we aren't happy about the date change. Before going and changing all of your plans (or making new ones), give them (the HS crew) a chance to respond. Albert (miamimcnutt) isn't the one making this decision. He just happens to be our messenger. I'd say at least give him til the weekend to find out some more information before jumping the gun on plane tickets....that's just my advice from one traveling racer to another.....

Sorry guys I'm a little late to the party. We all made arrangements for the 4th, even us at High Speed. There was a decision made and unfortunately it has changed. Hobby shop owner made it clear the 24th of April is a better date for them. I myself had to go in a barter with my boss to rearrange days off again.
Guys please remember, our track owner is not a racer. He is graceful enough to host our weekly racing. When there is Cup race or bigger Saturday event he has to make special arrangements to accommodate, extend hours and pay employees extra to cover the extra hours. This week just works better. I'm not questioning this decision. We are just letting everyone know about the change in event dates. Sorry again for any troubles.
I will have an event post up soon with entry list and classes. Well hell the classes are; GT2(GT 70t), LM2(LM 70t), and Can Am1(Can Am open).

May is not going to work for several reasons. The Charlotte Nascar race, there is also a Carolina Short Course Challange race in May, and again the 4th just didn't work for the shop owners.
Again guys sorry for the in convince,
Wade
