I've developed an open wheel kit designed for the MR-03 that uses screw holes found on the rear end of the PN alloy motor mount.
I designed this so that you could run your racer open wheel but still have protection on the front end. I used the XYZ DaVinci 1.0 3d printer and Simplify 3d to slice the 3d model. I used TinkerCAD to draw up the design and save it as an .STL file for printing.
The chassis is a 98mm PN2.5 with A-Arm kit. I'm running zero offset Wide wheels up front and +3 offset Wide wheels in the rear. The esc and motor are Kyosho Mini-Z VE board and Atomic VSX 5000kv. All the holes were drawn into the model but the printing is not precise enough to leave a perfect hole so I use couple small drill bits to open them up.
