Is there any way thay you can create a mobile app for smart phones so people can review their personal laps during practices or even save their own race data during qualifiers and mains?...
the most common phones by us are the driods and the iphones....
i am currently using the driod bionic..

I've developed two different complements to ZRound. They are "private" builds for my club but I think they could be useful with minor changes for everybody.
- A (really) simple web site to review racer's training session, best laps and all race results. Also it is included a menu with all the championship and the link to their race details. It's build on .net to make easy the deploy on the Windows box where ZRound is installed (of course, you need a wifi but not an internet connection). You can see a test site on internet here (Spanish version ): http://madriz.zround.com/laps
I must say it is not as used as I expected so I don't know if I will continue spending time on it.
- An Android application (tested on v2.3 and v3.0) to see real time data. A wifi link is used to receive data from ZRound. The main screen is:
.
People on my club prefers to use ZRound/ZViewer to review all information (everybody has full access to the PC). In fact, they don't see very useful the mobile app because of the small screen and limited features compared to ZRound/ZViewer but it can be used where the PC has limited access or simply by comfort.
I will announce on the forum whenever these complements are released.
thank you for quick response... excellent service as always..

So, is this linked to the lapping hardware or an excel sheet w/ a gui?
ZRound has the link to the lapcounter hardware (usb/parallel/com port) and sends lap information to remote devices (zviewer/mobile app) just when it is received. So it is not a "direct" link but it is linked through ZRound itself.

Jesús - I would LOVE this possibility!!
I'm not interested in an app, but to display the racing result directly on a webpage like that. That would be awesome!

Cruizin w/RC's had this capability since the spring. (posted results on website to be able to view laps on smartphone after each race) The usage was low accept for me, so I dont think they use it much anymore.
It's for my own personal track.
Then it's much easier for me and my friends to follow racing results.
I can also use it at work (not that I work with RC), but so all can follow there progression.
I mean, if it's simple to set up and low maintenance, it's a NoBrainer for me....

I'm in the z-inim case. The site build to control trainings results, record and championship details is poorly used and I'm not sure if i will continue working on.
But what NoBrainer want can be do it since the very firsts releases. You can configure a html file which will be updated on every lap. It will show the results of the racers running (both trainings and races). You can setup a webserver (apache, iis, whatyouwant) to publish the file (or embed the page into a frame, etc). You can define the refresh time to allow the browser to be automatically updated.
