Those stock races sure are getting close. I think it bugs me a little that a crash can cost someone a win but I guess that is just incentive to drive as clean as possible (Edit: I'm calling the kettle black here cause I've caused wrecks that have drastically altered the outcomes of races It was certainly a good experience for me to get taken out and then not be able to climb back up before the race was over)

Also, I enjoyed the lack of carnage this time! (Broken cars that is)

As always - had a ton of fun.
The racing is getting so close, any mistake can be costly.
Thanks to xmodcanuck who did a great job on the layout.

I realized yesterday morning I missed an awesome opportunity to poke some fun at TeeSquared...when he mentioned that I beat him to the purchase of some alloy knuckles I should've harassed him about "adding weight" like he picks on is for having bits on our cars.

Next time. 😜

We've got the clubhouse reserved for May 8th.

To much sun isn't healthy. Come indoors for a day and reap the benefits - like shade, relaxing practice time and stressful races.

Hope you can make it.

Is May 08 Mother's Day? Not sure if I can make it.

But I want to ask, is there any chance that Steve will have the new Trackmate transponders available for purchase? I'm interested in buying two for dNano.

Thanks for pointing that out - I had missed that one.

As others might not be able to make it on that day, we've decided it would be best to reschedule our GTG for the 15th.

Thanks.

Something has come up so I am unable to make the race this Sunday, but I hope you are all able to make it out & run some laps!

If it helps with determining the next GTG date, I'm available May 29th, June 5th or the 12th. I'll be in Whistler on the 19th.

So do we have an idea for the next gtg? I've got both mri out of the way now so if I can ditch the wife I'm racing all day....

Reviving the Abarth and I fixed the epic body damage Dave H caused at the last gtg.

I'm also considering my 2 F1s since I don't have enough rwd chassis to use.

Been kinda outa touch as I left for a weeks camping the morning after our last GTG.

May's been busy, June and July are even busier.

Somewhat opposite of rfick73 I am not available to host on May 29th, June 5th, 12th and 19th.

I have the clubhouse booked for us on June 26th.

Also be advised that I am not available to host all of July.

Are you able to get away in July?

I was thinking about the first Whistler event for mid-July....if you're not free then i'll wait until August for a group event.

BTW I understand your ploy now....keep the events as far as possible from each other so Cowboy forgets how to drive fast and therefore gives you all a chance at the podium.

i'm onto you, Dave.
