I'm surprised that most Mini Z "shocks" are really just springs and friction dampeners? This looks like and actual oil shock. It should work better.
Do they make one for the new 2.4 F-1 cars??

Hard to tell but it almost looks like a thru shaft shock.

There is a re-packaging delay due to the release of MR-03. Stay tuned. Product is heading to your local dealers soon.

Hello! I just want to say thank you for help with updates and info on Atomic parts for Mini-Z. I think I can speak for everyone in saying we appreciate your being part of this forum.

A couple questions regarding the new Atomic Oil Shock: Is this an actual sealed-type oil shock? And also, what would be a rough-estimate regarding the product release date?

Thank You!

I don't have a sample of the product in hand I'll forward your question to the design and sales team. Wait for my response.

I finally got around to mount this shock. I really like it. It is double the weight of the Kyosho shock, but adds some nice features, and it looks really good.
Total weight, filled with oil is 2,8 grams (+ mount)
One thing though. The oil bottle that came with it had leaked out inside the package.

Here is my review:

Thanks
It depends on how much stroke you give it, but on my car I mounted it with a length of 42,55 mm in resting condition.
Max stroke is 44,58 mm.
Measured center to center between the mounting points.

I think 42 mm is about the minimum length between the mounting points.
