Hey folks!
So I bought the Delrin pinion and diff gears, and ceramic diff balls, and am trying to install on my 3Racing ball diff.
No Luck - seems like the delrin gear is too thick; or not extruded the same way as the plastic gear on the ball diff; plus the ceramic balls are too big to fit into the 3racing gear.
Anybody know what I'm talkin' abooot?
I'd love to know if there's just some different bits I could get to surround the gear that'll fit right, or if I'm supposed to drill out the delrin gear myself, or if I'm just an idiot and bought the wrong upgrade parts.
each company has a slightly different gear on the diff and the design is different. Some have 1/16, 3/32 & 1/8" balls in them. the motor pinions are universal though.
you will need to get the specific parts for the diff you have. I would go by brand and then look for the correct size.
As briankstan already mention each company has a different design for the diff. You have to know which parts are replaceable for the diff or have lots of knowledge for which parts are interchangable.
