Which Mini racer...again.

I've been reading this thread and there's alot of good info.

Just wondering...do they race the AWD with the 2WD cars?

We don't have a mini race scene in my area but a few of us were going to get them just to mess with. Anyway...which Mini-z racer is the best out of the box? the MR02 mid motor from what I've read seems to be the leader. Does that sound correct?

Or is the the new AWD cars taking over top racer spot?

I have plenty of racing experience having owned almost every 1/10th TC out there they last 4 years. Just looking for something small. cheap, and fun.

One factor I see for a good racer is durability, any of the racers (MR01,015,02) has that as a strong point. They are very straightforward in design that make for a good fast car. The AWD MA-01 is a new car and there are many of us looking for strong upgrades for it to run hotter motors and hold up to racing demands. The AWD may need more work, but the AWD handles very good out of the box. If you care about how much you want to spend, go with the MR cars as those are solid cars. You can get an AWD later to mess with, they are nice but upgrades and upkeep can drain the bank quickly.

With that being said what are the most popular MR02 MM bodies to run?

Enzo, McLaren, Lambo or the new Atomic VDS body - like in my avatar.
