Can you edit that to 68 instead of 468 that is my error... I don't know how to edit this on NLT or even if i can edit it.

I fixed it.

Well, guess I'll add that to the list of things people need to be able to do. You can do it by deleting the race and re-uploading it, but only before submissions close. But no submissions are allowed after the close date. Maybe only allowing the league admins the ability to edit results post submission close. I'll have to noodle on how to make this this work well.

Also, Brian submitted Salt Lake's results from the How Fast are You community on accident. I fixed those results as well. Maybe I need to change how results are submitted. I feel like it could be done a little better.

If your ok with doing edits, it may be best to limit the ability to do so to as few as possible. At most club admin.

Well just 2 races left in season 28. I have really enjoyed the 2 classes of racing this season. My laps in the 2 classes have been very close to each other, but for the most part I have been able to get more laps with my open car than my racer class car. I know a few people have or are going to run the GLF1 in the open class, but I wonder if there is enough interest to run a F1 class now?
Probably the biggest factor in considering a F1 class is time. I know a few of you guys run all of the races in one night and may not have time to add a 3rd class into the mix. But I think it is worth discussing.

If demand materializes as a result of GLF1, how itís run as a class is up to the club in my opinion. The larger questions remains, is there enough demand for the website guys to track another class? It seems simple enough to add yet another class to the back end but thatís easy for me to say not being the one to do it . We still donít have enough demand to fill a min. 3 car grid. Sort of the chicken and the egg thing for us. People have expressed interest but hesitant to invest in something that might not bear fruit so consequently, lots of people on the fence waiting.

My thought for right now would also be that the open class’s original structure of run and submit anything with a faster than HFAY power combo functions beautifully for ranking GLF’s with others. Even though technically GLF is going to be slower than other open platforms and therefore given all else equal is not directly competing with them we can still clearly see F1 rankings off of posted chassis type. To give it a lil more flavor maybe we can manually extract the F1 results from each month and post it either on the GLF thread or right on this forum as well as HFAY FBalls page. I think it will enticing to re-visit adding an F1 only class at a point when either majority of Open class cars are F1's or if open class grows much larger regardless of %'s at least 15 or more F1's are running & submitting consistently.

There will be at least one more GLF/F1 submission for October () & just looking at social a lot of HFAY participants have already picked one up and as an F1 enthusiast my hope is they’ll choose the GLF for their open runs.
I’ve built the car of course & then have had two full track days and a bench-wrench tune session after wards…I can say GLF is a rewarding car trying to figure out and work on and makes for a uniquely gratifying type of driving experience .

I think for us we're probably not going to be able to run the GLF-1's as a 3rd separate class due to time constraints. Usually we can just fit in the racer and open classes in only one direction during a race session.

I suppose i was only addressing the separate F1 class reporting on NLT rather than what art4242 brought up but to that point in our club we only have one GLF1 running in the open class at this point and really don't expect to see 3 GLF's to consider running a separate F1 class. Second read I think mtseo originally was talking about this point also , sorry for missing it before.

Given there are no restrictions on the websites for inputting text, we could input for F1 now as chassis type under Open class in lieu of creating a new class just for F1.
I think i could squeeze in F1 for my club but would have to run a very tight ship and make sure to start on time which almost never happens. In prior years, I ran the schedule very tight as we had seasoned veterans of HFAY and the club. Iím in a new location now and new club members in our first season so may pick back up on being more strict next season. No reason why i shouldnít be able to get through 3 classes in both directions in a single 6 hour session.
We also intermix our classes when racing as we have to based on limited participation in Open class and just make sure to sort drivers accordingly so they can run both classes if they choose. Some only want to run Open And is nice that I can finally get them into HFAY despite not wanting to run Racer class rules. Some people just love their LiPo cars and thatís all they have/want.
Running F1 in Open also alleviates the need to have 3 as you can then just intermix with other classes to make sure you meet the base requirement of 3 car field.

Lol. Please do.

I haven't changed the way you submit yet! I'll be changing the way to submit results next season. I'm working on it now. I'll let everyone know. Basically you will do it from the championship rounds page next season. It'll make it so Brian can also submit late results instead of just me.

New class are not challenging to add but I imagine getting enough people on board will be. I've made it possible for Brian to add classes allowed in result submission.

I doubt we will be able to run anything other than the racer class in the pdx club. Too many people and not enough time.

Not that I want to change it, but are we the only club running both directions on the same night?

SEOZ runs on 2 separate nights. Though the HFAY track is about all we have room for. So we don't change the track in between the cw and ccw races.

No, this is the way we have always done it. Takes the entire day and CCW is always last with less practice but we do it all in a day.
