Picked some up a lunch today. How do you actually mount them on the truck?

I bought a lego racer kit today and have to say the tires fit the overland wide rims almost perfect. they ar 30 4x14 vr. I recommend these tires to anyone who hasnt tried them.

Thay preform GREAT!!! maybe its just me but I think they run more quiet than anything so far. They stand a little taller and are a little wider than the gpm wide tires. I really like the tread pattern on these babys. They will become my hard wood floor tires.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for those tires. They look like they'll work great when scuffed too!

LEGO TYRES

Ive looked all over for models with tyres which MAY fit on stock ol rims. i must have spent £25-£30 at toys r us and thrown them away cos of non fits. But today i went in to the atic and looked in my 10 year old technics. The tyres are real soft and the tread burns your skin if you spin the wheel on your hand. To make them fit i had to chop off the outer piece of the rim, now there a titi fit. ill post pics wen i get a decent enough camera.

phredd- how did you solve the rubbing with those tires? i've tried them and they are a tad wider than wide gpm wheels and the inside portion rubs on the knuckles, and the rear rubs on the main gear clip. not to one side or the other hangs over the lip of the wheel...

t.l.- how did you cut th ecenter rib off the tire? i have some lego wheels that are awsome rally racer tires but i can't seem to cut the inner center rib out of them....

ARCH 2B

HI Arch, it was the wheel i cut. look at the stock rim with the tyre off and you c the part of the rim which the tyre covers, i cut thet off and sanded it down. R your tyre treads sort of like square blocks and do they say lego 2345 on the side

I havent noticed any rubbing at all untill I read your post. After inspecting the front wheels I noticed the tire rubs a little on the knuckle and the rear is also rubbing the maingear clip. I never noticed this before. Thanks for pointng it out. I can see no signs of damage to the ol or to the tires, except for the shinny spot on the rear main gear cover Im gonna keep running the tires for now. May try to add a washer to the front and try to think of something for the rear...Any Ideas?

This may be 1 solution I have a set of mr-02 wheels that have a little more shaft than the regular wheels...

Here is a view from the side. Note that running these tires and wheel setup will rub on the fender ever so slightly and would require some body/shock lift.

THey really fit these wheels pretty good.

Those tires are also available in the Mind Storms set, but you only get two... the same set also has a much larger tire, but again you only get two... but then I have two mindstorm sets now so I have 4 of each, here are the BIGGER tires... bout same dia as the monster tires (monster in the back ground is mondos). These lego tires are just set next to the body, the overland tires sort of fit inside the rear of the lego rim, so its just for photo...

Maybe this would give a reason to trim back the fenders on the evo pajero the one line on the fender? (this body/overland is for sale (its not a monster, and lego tires are NOT included)
