Hi, Al from RMZR.

Thinking of maybe heading down on Sat., have a Mr03VE, but don't have much experience with it. What motor and gearing should I set the car up with to make the 35min. runtime. Any tips would be appreciated.

Another question, what does 70t *open* mean? Handout motors or should I bring my own.

Thanks guys

Hey Al. It's brushless motor for the 35min. Enduro. I don't have a gear ratio to suggest. I'm running a 64p diff with a 12t pinion. 35min. Shouldn't be a problem with a 6-7 pinion on the stock spur. I'm going to probably run a shorter gear and dial back some throttle.

The 70t open is not a handout race so bring yours.

Kris

Schedule shows door open at 11, should it be 10:30 for an hour unregulated practice? I only ask because I have to build my brushless car and the extra half an hour would come in handy.

We've only scheduled two classes for the day so I think we can get some practice time in.

want to say thank you to kris for organizing this, dwight for the trophies and gary for opening his doors for everyone. thanks to al as well for making the trek down to join us.

sorry i had to drop out of the brushless race. blew up my stock LM diff 8 laps in. i wasn't really finished building it anyway. took it apart when i got home and fund a bunch of loose things. i didn't do much better in 70T, put new tires on and had a bit to much bite in 2 turns leaving me rolling over.

it was great to see joey finish the brushless race! i've never seen a brushless run that low and managed to pull it across the finish on it's last bit of juice.
