due to reorganization of the club racing at hobby works, the available dates in november will be the 11th and 25th. which would you prefer for hfay and we could use the other for the claassic car event.

turns out we had a new peson stop buy but not race, pelase welcome helee4
to the group and we look forward to seeing him at the next race.
everyone clear and ready for this classic car race?
we are going to have a couple hours to play with afterward since the classic should only take about 3 hours tops. should it be open practice? fun races? both?

I'm still ordering parts and tuning my car but I should be ready to roll.
What's the schedule going to be like? What time do we want to start the actual race? 2:00 or 3:00?
I won't be able to bring any extra track since I'll most likely be coming in from New Jersey after Thanksgiving. It would be nice to get a slightly larger layout than we had this weekend.

if we want to run anything afterward i suggest starting asap. store opens at 10am for us, no reason why we couldn't start at noon and use 3-4 hours for whatever.
if none of the locals have any track to bring i can bring some but not much. hw's already have 6 blanks as well. anyone want to take a stab at a track layout?

I can think of one reason...travel time. I might not be able to get there until noon if I am coming from northern Jersey. I'll have to see how early I can get out of Jersey. Mapquest has it at 4.5 hours.

I might be able to make it to this one although I don't have a classic runner. I guess it might be time to bring my Shelby out of storage.
Spoon, could you do me a favor and bring your motor break in stand?

Mapquest isn't accounting for traffic on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, either.
There are no chassis restrictions on this, right (just motor/body)? My 015 is still not running properly, so unless I want to do a board swap (not really) I'll probably squeeze the 934 onto an MR-02.

I really don't have a lot of line ups, since most my cars are taken apart and still in storage and I don't have classic bodies neither
-- Are we limited to mini-z chassis,electronics?
-- How about battery?
Sorry, I know the rules might have posted in other thread within this forum, but I might get lost..

there are only 2 restrictions i am aware of, 'classic' body and hfay s4 motor. technically, anythign else goes but we try to stick to the spirit of the event as much as possible.
here is the disucssion on the event specifically, http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26277 please feel free to ask any questions, etc.
so long as you have a running car, between all of us i'm sure we can accomodate a body and motor for anyone found without either.

helee4,
I have a trueno you could use but it's going to be a tough one to setup for. You'll need a 94mm MR015 or an AWD to run it.
Alternatively, if you wanted to come out and just run some practice heats with us and maybe help marshall the enduro that would be cool.
The actual race is an hour but we'll have cars on the track from 11:00 AM until 4 or 5...with the one hour race in there somewhere.
